There’s a documentary about shoes—or should I say shoe addiction—coming out this fall called God Save My Shoes. Seems to focus heavily on pumps, whereas I think shoe love goes deeper than that… Plus I’m thinking they could’ve picked a celebrity who doesn’t have her own line of shoes like Fergie does, but I’m hoping to check it out anyway.

I was cleaning my daughter’s bookshelf when I stumbled across this paperback called My Shoe Book. Although it’s a “Golden Super Shape Book,” I can’t say it’s really shaped like anything… but it is adorable.

Toronto, Canada, has always been my shoe mecca. Not only is that where I discovered Fluevog shoes, but it’s also home to the Bata Shoe Museum, which I had the fortune to visit back in the late 1990s.
